Lol, I saw On Golden Pond with my dad when I was a teenager after my parents divorced. I remember because these 2 ladies kept talking loudly behind us and my dad told them to "STFU" after several minutes!

I just started eating more protein and eat protein in snacks as well. My problem is night eating. I am not hungry all day and then I am starving at night so forcing myself to eat a lite breakfast and more protein with lunch and dinner. Still want to snack at night but taking walks helps.

I was using Orgain protein powder and making a fruit smoothie every morning with almond or oat milk but I did that for over a year and got bored so I am taking a break for awhile and doing other things.

I feel lucky I get to grow old with them and then when I die I can be a guardian angel and follow them around or stalk them like ghost Yoongi stalking Namjoon, lol!!!!!

Yeah, unfortunately there are people WITH kids and they still are on their own - no guarantees. I have nephews and neices but my fav nephew is only 11 years younger than me and the other one - forget it. He would let me rot in bed and take my social security, lol! My neices live in another state.

I get that. Now that I am in 60s I am realizing that sometimes the battle seems pointless. With my dogs gone and no plan on more pets for awhile I am basically here to see BTS and deal with my mother's passing when time comes. It's not a sad thing - I just don't need to live 30+ more years.

I don't want to live as long as my mother. She is stubborn and wants to live. I wouldn't be surprised if she makes it to 100. She still lives alone and I am not sure how long that is sustainable. I don't have kids so I don't have the desire to be that old. I don't want to end up in a nursing home.

My mom divorced in mid-70s and the only reason she was able to get a home was because she worked for a builder/developer and they helped her get approved. I take it for granted that I am in my 4th home and bought all of my homes by myself, no co-signers. I can't imagine surviving those times.

My mom has one (she's 95) and has used hers a few times after falling down so it has been a relief that she has it. She has had a couple of accidental incidents with it but they always call to confirm. I assume if she doesn't answer they would just sent an ambulance.

Thanks to all that responded. I never feel alone when I have ARMY by my side. It's just such a weird feeling having an experience like that (I just turned 62) and living alone. No one to help me or call an ambulance if it were to escalate. Maybe it's time for one of those medic alert buttons? 🤔😂

I can relate to this. I still do things old school (I am a webmaster) and people can do what I do using AI now. I have a client rewriting some online classes with AI but guess what? I have to go thru everything because AI is not logical and makes so many mistakes. Job security I guess.

Not BTS related but wanted to share. Recently I watched Mad Men again and it occurred to me how much today feels like history repeating itself. What particularly stood out is how much this administration wants women to go back to how we were treated 60 years ago - it's disturbing.

I am getting old so having the space and our own restroom and VIP entrance is going to be a nice way to ease back into concerts. Day 2 we are in the stands and that is always exciting but it is also exhausting for someone who isn't used to crowds anymore.

I am ok, thanks. 🫂 I have never experienced that moment where you think "this is it - this is how I die" and I believe in an afterlife. I lived for my dogs for so long and now they are gone so I guess I am ready when it happens BUT I have tickets to 4 concerts so I don't want to go yet, lol!

The other night I had a near death experience and it kind of shook me. Is it awful to say that the first thing I thought about was "not before I see BTS again!"? I am really looking forward to the upcoming tour and not much else is happening in my life. If it wasn't for them I would be ready to go.

I loved whales before BTS and have them in my house so it made it even more special that they use a whale in so much of their symbolism.
