Can't stop thinking about this frame from Black Birthday. The word "truth" from the line "becoming my true self" is being seared into Doloris' face, as she melts away and turns into her true form, which is the pile of ashes and bones you see in other points of the MV

Giving myself a headache by once again thinking about how horrifyingly close Mujina Carnival is to Hatsune's backstory (Hatsune asking Kiyotsugu to help her find Sakiko and Luna here saying "Pardon me mister, I'm looking for my friend, her name is Rika Ashida")

Hatsune dehumanizes herself obviously, but truly I am never getting over these shots in ep11 that show us how this girl views the world. She sees herself as a monster in disguise, but it's not like she sees anyone else as being human either.
This imagery of shadowy figures also exists in their lore

It randomly hit me that the reason why Sakiko hesitates to drink Hatsune's coffee may be because deep down she's rejecting the notion that simply because she's a Togawa, she should be "served" by someone who is, in any other circumstance, her equal. Interesting to think about all things considered

trimming the last bits of love off her cage. trying to flee to where there are no roses at all. both of them on a path with every color of rose. the one big red rose at uika's shoulder in a sea of pink roses. it's aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Once you read umineko and see the clear inspirations avemuji draws from it, you start believing the uisaki plan

Something else I love about the composition here is all the roses coiled around the "cage"

In self-titled, Hatsune wrote a line about "briars that twine around you, never letting you go"

I always took it as "wrapping herself around Sakiko to not let her go," but it refers to her own cage as well

Love getting a migraine every time I think about how the first time the word "Hatsune" came out of Sakiko's mouth was also probably the first time she genuinely liked hearing it said

Doloris with a sword is a bad idea. What if she hurts herself. Oblivionis with a sword is an excellent idea though because she can stab Doloris with it

Of course Oblivionis and Doloris have matching swords
