If they truly wanted to address our declining birth rate in this country, maybe they should first address the lack of paid maternity leave, the lack of affordable childcare, the lack of well paying jobs, the cost of higher education, the lack of affordable healthcare, and the overall cost of living.

So educating children with special needs is a “democrat program?” That they “disagree with.” Cool. Cause republicans never have children with special needs that will ever require silly laws like IDEA. Cool. He can go fuck himself.

As a special educator, and as a human being, I am irate. We should all be irate about this “play“ that they are making to try to pass their budget. This is fucking ridiculous, and children’s lives are in the balance. All children deserve to have a free and appropriate public education. Period.
