Clonakilty seems to be one of the more sturdy โ€˜newโ€™ Irish distilleries. Hoping they get a chance to mature their offering. #bottlekill #moreirishwhiskey

My sister makes the best Irish coffee. Wouldnโ€™t be Xmas without it.

Home for the holidays. Glad to find this in the family cupboard. An elegant drop, and lovely to back.

Loch Lomond Distillery Edition 4. Really interesting. I may be losing my mind but I got banana, melon, and refresher sweets on the nose. A smack of damp on the palate. Didnโ€™t take water very well. Big fan though

Youโ€™re a bad man. Shame on you.

Very helpful. It might tick the box as a Xmassy bottle to bring to a family gathering so. Cheers

Iโ€™ve been so close to getting this. Would love to know what you think when you crack it open.

A welcomed free gift after buying a bottle of Elijah Craig. A big fan of the 105. Itโ€™s a confident, moreish bastard so it is and it knows it. Hereโ€™s to the weekend!

Yeah I understand that. Used to be all about the peat and smokey stuff. Still appreciate it bit tastes leaning in other directions now.

Black Friday sales are killing me. Need to empty the shelves. #bottlekill for the Talisker. The peaty stuff is becoming hard work in my old age to be honest. Give me the sweet stuff.

3 long hard days working in Berlin. Home to a drop of Dingle whiskey. I swear itโ€™s changed a lot over the course of the bottle but I could be talking shite. Always things to discover with this one though. Slainte

Bushmills 10 is an underrated drop. I got this for about ยฃ24. And you donโ€™t get a lot for that price when it comes to Irish whiskey.

Your tasting notes sounded delicious. I was all in. Then the crotch punch of the price. Is it the Springbank factor kicking in?

I wasnโ€™t planning on getting a bottle this month. Now Iโ€™m seriously considering getting 3. Those bastards know what theyโ€™re doing.

A morose bottle kill after a disappointing night for Ireland. Nothing like a depressant to chase the blues away.

This Thompson Bros really is a tremendous whisky. All treacle/golden syrup on the palate.

First cask strength bottle. At 57.1% itโ€™s a fairly easy sip - considering the abv. Stewed apples about all I can get.

Bacon stuffed crรจme egg inside a lemon meringue? Doesnโ€™t sound boring anyway. Cool to see interesting blends coming out.

Itโ€™s a one in, one out policy at the moment and this is on its last legs. Eyeing up the Auld Goonseys Mannochmore 13 as the next one.

Iโ€™m not great at this but the nose seems almost non existent- maybe pear, honey, oak. But really faint. The taste is similar. Not unpleasant just not a lot there.

Picked up Chita single grain for ยฃ34 at duty free. Never tried it before but seemed like a decent price to test it out.

Great episode. Good to hear ye talk about Irish whiskey. Surprised Dingle didnโ€™t make Michaelโ€™s flight, it just about sneaks under the ยฃ50.

Very kind offer. Thanks. Iโ€™ll scout around but sure plenty whisky to be exploring in the meantime.

Thanks for the tip Duncan. Am in London so Iโ€™ve no excuse for options I think. Only sampled SMWS at festivals - obviously need to explore more.
