Area to area thing. In the lower states it is less of a thing than the "deep south" area, where western accent has a high pronunciation on the A's of a word. You all → y'All, sorry→ Sarry/serry, etc. even names that already have A's like "Sarah" get pronounced with the "Ay" instead of "Ah"
