Linux is just different then what most people are used to if you grew up using Windows

My advice, download a linux flavour for your main device

Use that as your daily development driver

Learn the core linux commands and the rest you will learn over time when needed

actually, do you develop on Windows? I could potentially see some issues there

I develop my sites on Ubuntu locally so it is essentially the same as being on a linux server

That sounds like more of an issue with your local environment

There should be no real differences between testing on localhost vs deploying to a live site

The only difference would be configuration for the different environments

lol yeah. I've not used Copilot in a couple of years

I'd highly recommend giving Windsurf a shot. It is a completely different league than what Copilot could do

If you do give it a shot, I'd recommend Claude Sonnet 4.5. It is miles above even what other models could do a few months ago
