Also for Krita. It is a rather easy system to setup XD. Sorry for the long lived yapping, i really hope you might get interested into doing speedpaints as well. Keep up the amazing hard work and thanks for stopping by. I love talking about this stuff!
The other part is that people may have questions, and if its someone critiquing me, regardless of whether its in good faith, i can choose to look in on myself. To fix ones problems they must first be aware of it. From there it is educating and improvepment.
I enjoy speedpaints because they really help show this process, even just a little bit, when im not there to confess that i spent a good half hour just staring at other people's work, very specific references. Occasionally integrating something i find that i didnt think of before.
The part that makes art so exquisite is the mere fact humans are imperfect. We all have our ways to integrate, remove, hide, or even straight up miss mistakes. And its these ways which we fail that we produce success. That is the final piece.
...one may learn that there is room to simply mess around. Somethign that isnt realy shown is the iterative design that occurs mentally. Lots of adjusting limbs, rotating the angle, etc. It is often we forget that there is nothing wrong with making a copy and trying a different route.
I have interestingly found that many of the masters out there have failure as part of the process. Its easy to get caught up with getting it right the first time, especially with less reversible medias like traditional and so forth. But by seeing works from masters like Steven Zapata...
speedpaints are for myself really. I often find small details and features I like and watch the speed paint to see how I built the construction. On the other hand, I also do show BECAUSE of my flaws as a person and ana artist.
