WA measles outbreak has health officials concerned over World Cup games Over the course of a month, confirmed measles cases in Snohomish County have more than doubled, leading to growing concerns ahead of the FIFA World Cup games in Seattle this summer.

My home county is seeing increased measles cases, kicked off by traveler from SC outbreak, sustained by unvaccinated residents.

Snohomish is the next county north from King, where the World Cup games will be played.

In the US this year, there have been 10 new measles outbreaks and 90% of cases are outbreak associated. 92% are unvax.
