And it feels like every day has a new irritating scandal in xiv. From mods to cliques to annoying grinds and low&effort content.

WoW has been a nice change of pace. XIV isn't behind me, but it's nice to return to azeroth and see a game with more (quantity) to offer.

Instead of in XIV, wherein so much of it is playing at the same time.

The base level of the content is more challenging, which the overall ceiling is lower. Individual effort is higher, which coordination is needed, but not the only thing that matters. The steps of the dance change.

WoW has been so much fun. Even doing things I don't like in the game. Because when I'm playing with friends like @orrickgrandscream.bsky.social , @berryscrawls.bsky.social , @stellarstag.bsky.social , and @lateknightlycan.bsky.social , it feels like we're actually playing together.
