My pet-sitting client recently moved house and I noticed his Keurig timer wasn’t set yet. So I programmed his Keurig for him, set it to the right time, and even set it to automatically turn on at 5:30 AM :) trying to make up for being 30 minutes late any way that I possibly can

That and one missed call. So lucky I got there at 6:30 AM, cuz 30 minutes late isn’t the worst thing in the world. But I easily could have slept till 12 pm 😭

Waking up to those first two texts bruhhh I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I really fucked up.

I fucked up the other day and overslept. I was supposed to get up at 5:30 AM and be at my client’s house by 6:00 AM to watch his dog. He had a flight to catch ASAP after that. I slept until 6:20 AM, really dropped the ball. Luckily he lives just 7 minutes away.

Everything just makes so much more sense, now. I see it so clearly. Finally. I used to worry these days would never come.

I’ve grown so much since then. So much has changed. It’s been mostly good. I am building a life I can be proud of, and it took quite a while to get here.

Back when my sense of self was wildly misaligned, I struggled to keep my shit together. I also hung around people who used me.

From 2020-2022, my step count was pretty abysmal. I was lucky if I could get 1k steps in a day. Most days I only got around 300 steps because I was just so depressed. My friend helped me land a job as a medical scribe at the ER, and also helped me go back to college for my pre-req courses.

Pretty good step count lately. It doesn’t always have to be 10k, but 10k steps is the ideal goal. It’s enough for it to average out closer to 8k, so I’ve still got just a bit more work to do :)
