The problem of conversion therapy is, as ever, not that conversion therapy doesn't work (although that's true) but that it constitutes an act of violence to suppress almost exclusively vulnerable people's core psychological development and that is devastating.

Yeah I agree with this.

My concern is not that young people are given the "correct" bodies, or modifications or whatever because there is no such thing as a correct body.

My concern is that the system is insistent on doing deterrent coercion to young trans people seeking to actualise themselves.

The lattice leaves a lot of the sky visible. Behind them are a large orange sun at the horizon while the bottom of a large red sun flows off the top of the page. The sky behind them is backlit with a pale yellowish-orange hue.
