Why are people complying in advance?
We are seeing huge decreases in attendance (both virtual and in person) for 1-off and sessions that are part of a series. The FLCs and CoPs fill. Here at least, there seems to be a desire for community building, ongoing engagement, and deep dives.
Although I still can’t believe they have the gall to use milk toast language like “meddling” as if the people they’re trying to stop are nosy elderly neighbors or the Scooby gang.
It’s a start? A damn sight better than “god is on the throne” nonsense. We shall see.
As a recovering Texan, Crockett makes me so proud of my home state. You’re right, no comparison.
How I feel as I keep the @resist.bot letters flowing to my Colorado elected officials like @bennet.senate.gov PS where the hell are Crow and Hickenlooper? Still on meta platforms?

Personally, I’m treating this like I did Twitter. It’s a place I mostly lurk. Too public to treat it like FB or some social media where your followers are a curated group.
Would any reputable news outlet consider reporting the news for the next 4 years without showing his face or playing his voice? I. Just. Can’t. Someone? Anyone? Your ratings would skyrocket.
