You can be disabled by illness, injury, climate disasters, war, police brutality, unmitigated pandemics, lack of access to healthcare, etc.
Disability justice is for us all, and it’s foundational to all other forms of justice.

I'm very tired, but I'm also happy. I hope that this will help me develop techniques to move again with the confidence that I'm not hurting my body. And I hope the study will also help the community of patients as a whole.
They also measured strength. They put some electrodes on me and made me lie with my legs and hips on one bed and my torso on the other one, then they lowered the torso bed and I had to keep my position. That fucking killed me. My hips amd legs are killing me now. Help.
They also tested my reflexes and then my skin sensitivity by making me close my eyes and poking me first with a pointy thing then with these??? filaments??? that were very thin and were really hard to feel.
They put those sensors on my body that they use for movement tracking and made me do a bunch of exercises then asked me if i felt pain anywhere and how much.
I'm participating on a study on therapeutic exercise guided by physios + education on the neuroscience of pain for patients with my condition and today was my first exercise session. It was... interesting. And very fun.
