Part of the second wave. These toys were such a blast--my cousin and I would take them outside and have adventures in the dirt, creeks, trees, make forts, imagine attacks. The works. So much fun being a kid.

I care. But the problem is educating the public...its exhausting to try and overcome the Fox propaganda. Just some basic history of the 20th century, some math, a little bit of world history, and basic 3.0 essay critical thinking skills would go a long way.

I've been told it was a benign salute, even used in Star Trek. I have to inform them that was the Mirror Mirror episode, and the Kirk and Spock doing that salute were EVIL.

I'm going to cry because of their ignorance.

The Musk apologists are now saying the Roman salute was used in the original Star Trek--usually with a gif or image. I pointedly inform them that they should watch the episode because that is the EVIL version of Spock and Kirk from the episode Mirror Mirror! IE, the salute is associated with evil.

Some say there are no stupid questions. I'd venture to say that there are some stupid questions, and they usually come at the very tail end of online meetings after we have wrapped up the session twice now and tried to leave, but someone has "just another thought...."

I'm merely pointing out that if in 1972, Fisher Price was mindful and apolitical enough to create this toy wearing a mask for health and safety, anti-covid(ers) could have done the same thing in 2020-2021.
