Every time I write in a Christmas card I feel the urge to pour my heart out in them a little but then I qchicken out and opt for the more casual "hope you have a great new year!!" cuz what if the feeling isnt really mutual and now ive done too much

I should prob be journaling my feelings instead of talking about it on bluesky but it at least feels safer to type out my thoughts on a smaller platform 😌 maybe ill treat this like my priv acc and just run away if it gets too much ;;

It's been years at this point but Id gotten so used to being pretty guarded and i got really comfortable with it, but this year ive been so much more open socially and it's been nice but i also cant shake the feeling of dread

I hate that I can tell I still have some trust issues bc ill start getting excited about a growing friendship(s) and then suddenly feel fearful for no discernible reason 🫠

I drew this in May of 2024 it was like my semi first time coloring traditionally I'm not the best at it and I think I might redo this piece because I really like spilled ink and @emirichuyt.bsky.social was and still is my inspiration so I hope u like it
