YES my grief and anger can't be separated. I don't think we've allowed people to properly grieve because we haven't allowed people to be angry or process more complex feelings about what happened.

None of those churches are in my current district and one was in another conference.

The south has merged and will continue to merge several conferences from the churches and members lost.

It's painful what's happening and we can now be the church we are called to be. Again both things are true.

The district I'm currently in lost a ton of churches. I lost all 3 of my formative churches: childhood, highschool* and church hosting Wesley campus ministry. *Married here after college.

Change needs to happen yesterday but we really haven't dealt at all with what happened. Both things are true.
