I know a lot of witches who use technology in their practice…whether it’s a battery operated candle, an online journal/grimoire, or cooking over a stove instead of a fire. 😊 You do what works for you.

I have used battery ones, too. We travel a lot and there are times I can’t use an actual candle because of restrictions by the travel company (like cruises). Times change and we should be able to adapt and evolve with it.
