I rarely ever see my tarantula spiderlings above ground, but I managed to catch my Brazilian Black and Red in the middle of renovations! They were not pleased and quickly bolted back into their burrow after but it's crazy they were only 1/4" in October 🕷️

Guiding my centipede back into their current hiding spot of choice after disturbing them. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but seeing them so mellow (as far as centipedes go) has me confident they may be handleable in the future! 🤞

I'm so happy to see my baby giant centipede getting out of that small frail noodle stage and beginning to broaden up. Just an absolute beaut that was less than pleased with me, but I appreciate them staying still 🙏

ID: Scolopendra sp. "Yawar Giant"

My Scolopendra Sp. "Yawar Giant" pedeling. Its broad segments are banded black and red while their legs are a gold-orange. The terminal legs are deep blue in contrast to the rest of its body.

My Brazilian Black and Red tarantula spiderling at the opening of their cork bark hide. They're still a light brown in color at this early stage.
