I see this a lot in Shoujo manga circles where people pick up a manga like Peach Girl and call all the characters stupid for their actions, it’s as if people forgot what soap operas are lol

I won’t judge people for what fiction they like but I am always up for soap opera cringe

Just finished reading the first two 12 Kingdoms books. One thing I really wished it had while reading was some sort of foot note/translators notes as there were a few cultural and historic references made that I had to stop reading and pull out my phone to look up to fully understand

12 Kingdoms ✅ Loved it! Just like the anime, the begining is kinda slow. But once Youko starts to interact with the world it starts to pick up. Tbh I wish there were more illustrations.

I am excited to read the later books that the anime never covered and learn what happened to Taiki
