A little group of us went to The Last Crumb Cake Shop in Bayswater on Saturday afternoon just before they closed for the day. I had hoped to include people in sketch, but I just wasn’t quick enough. Just one fella waiting for his coffee. Ink, watercolour, Tombows.

Actually I have to disagree with you on the composition. I like that you’ve filled the page with building - it puts it in your face, says lots about its mass. The leading line edge above the grass helps my eye slowly move into and across the page. Yep I enjoyed seeing this one. ⭐️
