I’m adding some shadows to my coral today. I love the pinks, blues and purples going into this one and I may even add some French knots later on!
I still have lots to do including finding a nice frame this piece will fit in when it’s done.

Hand embroidering the satin stitch can be tricky but it’s much easier to get a smooth finish when using just one strand of floss.

I completed my hand embroidered ‘fruit of armour’ project today! All 9 panels will now be sewn into a Japanese style suit of armour to be worn at festivals.
