Today's therapy was about letting myself be angry at my parents, especially my mother. I didn't make her choices, she did.

I just finished The Pitt and this is one of my favourite TV characters ever.

Real weird they're letting somebody with congestive heart failure run America. Most people with that diagnosis can't really do anything except look after their health as best they can.

If you can't understand the scope of a disability how do you know if you're being ableist?

My goshhhh I know I was a feature in some people's angst.

I'm not sure I'll ever have a person in my life who understands what BPD is and the disability that goes with it.

The problem with people not understanding the scope of your disability is they don't know when they're being ableist, they don't know the questions to ask in order to check in on you.

Now that I'm home the first thing I cooked tonight was Chinese food, a pulled tofu and leek clay pot, an addictive wombok cabbage salad all on rice with a relatively recent favourite: gold and silver sauce (garlic cooked to different degrees and ginger in an oil with a bit of salt and sugar).
