Patrick Stewart has been playing an old man for 40 years

and that's it! didn't liveskeet this one because i wasn't feeling well, but i liked this one!
perfect by no means but i feel like it really spoke to me in style more than substance, and although i still have some reservations with a few parts, i do recommend

anna paquin is serving Claire Redfield so hard in this film it makes you wish for the universe where we got her in an RE movie instead of X-men

honestly, not terrible. takes a bit too much from The Shining in a way that doesn't land thematically or plot-wise (plus, that acting...), but looks beautiful and is altogether an entertaining watch with a genuinely scary atmosphere at points
