I don't think we can use last season as a parameter for his lack of Ferreira's lack of playtime to start the year. In 2025 Jesus wasn'tjust a new player finding his role, he was sent back form the #USMNT camp, he wasn't fully fit and had minute restrictions. This year none of that applies.
Injury updates from Schmetzer revealed that Hassani Dotson is currently under concussion protocol, Paul Rothrock will be available for the 1st leg of #CONCACAFChampionsCup in Vancouver & results on Yeimar's injury are not ready yet.

Derrick Jones and Yaw Yeboah were issued a lifetime suspensions from Major League Soccer after an investigation concluded that both players were betting on soccer. including their own games.
The betting happened during the 2024 and 2025 season.
Yes, I thought Arriola for Brunell too but that's what I am curious about. Was it a defensive sub with close to 30 minutes left of the game? And what is it that he didn't feel like Jesus could provide that leaving Brunell at RW did. Whether they got better specifically because he was subbed IDK.

- Snyder Brunell did not look comfortable playing that pocket winger position
- I don't understand Ferreira's substitutions in the 64th

It wasn't a great performance from the #Sounders but it was a gritty 0-1 win at St Louis City.
🤦♂️ Another injury at CB. Yeimar's hamstring strain is a problem
👍 Defensive effort was great, especially in transition moments
👎 1st half was poor & offense struggled most of the match
Terrible news for the #Sounders as Yeimar Gómez Andrade looks to be injured, unable to continue and heads directly to the locker room.
Seattle is extremely thin at center back, making this potential injury that much more concerning if the #Colombian 🇨🇴 is out for some time.

Back at Providence Swedish Performance this morning and unfortunately this is the 3rd day Paul Rothrock has been absent from #Sounders training.
No word on the severity of his injury but it is something to monitor. Good news is that Georgi seems to be in full training again.

It wasn't my best segment for Fox 13 TBH but I'm glad the shot of the back ground looked pretty clean.
Georgi Minoungou appears to be in full training this morning. As Schmetzer indicated, Georgi does have a some sort of small fracture at the bottom of his right foot and his availability will depend pain tolerance.
On the other hand Paul Rothrock not out here today 🤔

Jordan Morris, Georgi Minoungou and Stuart Hawkins are all working away from the main group.
It's a positive news for the #Sounders to at least see Jordan out here doing some agility exercises. We will ask Brian Schmetzer updates on all 3 players.
Partial good news from the #Sounders
Brian Schmetzer shared that Hassani Dotson is not in concussion protocol but unfortunately Jordan Morris will be out approximately 4 weeks with a grade 1A quad injury.
For what is worth, at least it is not a long term injury for Jordan.
It was a comfortable 2-0 win for the #Sounders but injuries to Morris and Dotson damper Seattle’s home opener.

Per sources: Nashville SC is closing on a deal that would send Reed Baker-Whiting to Nashville SC. With depth at Winger/Wingback it makes sense for #Sounders to make this move.
I'm sure new Nashville assistant Chris Little was probably a factor in the club's interest in Reed.
