The BMI AGM took place on Saturday, 7th March. Our Vice-Presidents and Honorary Treasurer took us through the year 2024-25, highlighting the work that has been undertaken by the Board of Governors.
The Annual Report was well received by the members who attended.
A fantastic start to our Monday Lecture series for 2026. Our Historian in Residence, Andrew Reekes, gave a talk on The General Strike of 1926.

Our Gentleman's Magazines are restored to their rightful place in the Library. Established in 1731, by Warwickshire businessman, Edward Cave. It was he who coined the term 'magazine' to describe a periodical publication, and was a guide book for the gentleman about town.
