due to my horrible doomscrolling addiction, i have made a script to slowly fade in a horse over my entire browser over the course of a minute that you cannot remove unless you refresh the page making it so i cant use twitter for more than 2 minutes

this is why everyone reading this should start making bitwig tutorials btw, we need more of those

this is yet another reason why community is every bit as important as good educational resources for learning i reckon

sometimes the best teacher is someone that only knows a little more than you. because they still have a better sense of what is difficult about a subject.
you see this in maths degrees too, where especially in the first semesters i feel like you learn more from tutors than from professors.

ime if something is too obvious to you, you get worse at explaining it.
e.g. i really would have no idea how to teach how to write a drum beat. explaining something i only recently learned is wayy easier.
don't wait till you're a consummate expert to teach stuff to your peers.

I downloaded the poll data and am working on a little writeup of it. I'll likely just distribute it as a pdf via discord you can share around if you want, since I don't really have a good way to otherwise distribute it.

Here's a fairly simple one, a better way to create a Listen-Bus in #Bitwig that allows some features of the DAW (like the audition tool) to operate more smoothly.

A first attempt at more granular analysis:
How Professionals vs Hobbyists learn about audio & music.
Professionals include anyone that answered they work in audio as a side gig or full time job, while hobbyists are those that make occasional or no income.
Take the survey:

tl;dr: professionals can read

28.02.2026 14:05 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Professionals read more books & blogs to learn about sound making, they are a lot less likely to solely rely on youtube. I did not poll for peoples age, but i wonder if this is a factor here. Professionals are likely to be older on average i would guess.
In both group youtube dominates tho.

ftr ofc its also important to do your due diligence before calling sth vibecoded. not everything you dont like and not everything thats poorly made is vibecoded. humans can make bad software too ofc
