It is hard to come up with words on the murder of another young woman with her whole life ahead of her. Ellie Flanagan was just 23.

At NWC, we are devastated. The loss for Ellie's loved ones is unfathomable. We send them love & solidarity.

Women, everywhere, should live free of violence. #EndVAW

There have been at least 39,000 victims of human trafficking in Europe in the past 20 years

🚺️ Three-fifths were women

📹️ 48% were subjected to sexual exploitation, with the majority forced into prostitution. Some were forced to produce pornography

🇺🇦 19,000 came from Ukraine, highlighting the devastating impact of war for women and girls

NWC director Corrinne Hasson, along with Labour Party politicians and NGO reps, holds a sign saying "a real right to remote work" Corrinne Hasson speaking at the press conference on Monday

👐 NWC fully supports the @labourparty Bill in the Dáil today for a right for employees to flexible and remote work

✅️ Having a right to flexible and remote work won't fix gender inequality, but it would provide another tool for women in managing the complexity of life

Deeply concerning article revealing that a mother who experienced domestic violence was refused social housing priority

Local authorities must take DSGBV into account when assessing housing priority. No survivor should have to fight the system like this.
