ChatGPT image gen helped me a ton when it came down to finding a suitable rug for the room. I fed it a reference image, and it provided something close enough for us to pull the trigger.

Even getting it to suggest designs based on the existing colors in your room is a helpful starting point

All hail the space bar - The Desk of Bryan Maniotakis My entire macOS workflow revolves around a few repeatable actions, triggered hundreds of times a day using three key variations of the space bar.

Anyone else lean on the spacebar to control 90% of their tasks?

I'm going to miss some of these quirky MacOS app icons as everything gets more simplified.

Seeing how people would break out of the container was always interesting, but it obviously doesn't scale too well on a system level.

iOS 26 Liquid Glass Buttons | Figma Hi, all! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I practiced recreated Appleโ€™s new iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 button styles using Figma, complete with their new Liquid Glass material. These buttons are fully editable and use native Figma effect...

Just published a recreation of Appleโ€™s Liquid Glass style on the @figma.com Community!

Itโ€™s fully editable and built using native Figma effects. Phew, Iโ€™ve got a lot to learn about this new style, but this was a really fun one to practice! ๐Ÿค“

I'm generally optimistic, but I'm getting some serious vista vibes when the glass effect is used in big chunks.

If you're not using iOS automations, you really should be using this one. Orientation lock being on when you don't want it to be drives me insane.

I made my bookmarks public - The Desk of Bryan Maniotakis I'm always collecting interesting sites, interactions, articles โ€” basically whatever captures my curiosity on a given day.

I recently found a simple solution on how to make my bookmarks public. It's been refreshing to switch more into a curator mindset, rather than a collector.

Moving email newsletters to RSS to keep my sanity - The Desk of Bryan Maniotakis Like most email inboxes, mine is a bit of a mess. It contains client communications, personal communications, and too many newsletters to count.

Yep, I use Feedbin to gather and organize everything, then the Reeder Classic app to read it.

Feedbin has a great feature that allows you to forward all your email newsletters, which has kept my inbox much cleaner.
