This semester, students explored invertebrates through quirky and iconic videos from Isabella Rossellini, Sir David Attenborough and Ze Frank! They then pitched an invertebrate to star in a “Wild and Weird Invertebrates"series. The results were AMAZING and wildly creative! @alexsmithants.bsky.social

Animal phylogeny where tips are phyla. Sponges grabbed people's imagination this year and likely the start of term enthusiasm for "cephalochordata" was misplaced enthusiasm for Cephalopods. The GALS visited the The Gryphon Greenhome Growers (and CTV film crew) at the Bovey greenhouse! This student group grows fresh produce that is donated to the Student Foodbank. Our snails and cockroaches get the leftover leaves and produce!
