Broadcaster and scríbhneoir Manchán Magan dies aged 55 The writer, broadcaster and documentary maker Manchán Magan has died at the age of 55, his family has confirmed.

I know I won't be the only one waking up in tears to this news today. So authentically himself that there really was no one like him. A beautiful man who intrigued, schooled and inspired us all. I'm heartbroken for him & for those who loved him. He will be so missed.

Thinking of Sarah Clancy, always so good at capturing small bytes of humanity, ever moreso now as she's literally sticking up for humanity, while most of us nod off. A great person, hugely kind. 🙏

My friend Sarah Clancy is currently in IOF captivity, kidnapped last night when her boat, part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, was illegally intercepted in international waters.

Exactly. Well I don’t speak or read Russian but I believe it’s accurate! Also like Cacahuates japoneses which were invented in Mexico City, I think at La Merced market. If you want to find them in Japan I think you have to ask for Mexican peanuts or something like that.

In Russian they’re called American Mountains or American Slides or something like that. 🎢
