He is good a sub but there is no evidence he has the legs beyond 30 min cameos

I don’t get the pressure to play him more just because of what he achieved 10 years ago

It’s pretty obvious to me Mata is an effective sub, but not a 90min or 60 min player.

I don’t get the obsession with playing a big name who is clearly on the verge of retirement.

It’s an interesting choice because Vidic is a natural striker who will give a physical presence around Kaltak, but he isn’t any fitter than Wellissol.

I can see Adams or Timmins being played like a #10 as an option as well.

Personally I would like to see Timmins brought back into the side.

I think he is not physically up to the game plan Stanton sets out, and looks gassed within 20-30 minutes. His pressing is poor and it’s effecting the entire team

Will be the best thing for Wellissol to play off the bench and come on with 20-30 to go as a Left winger when the opposition is tired.
