The aether magic is getting scary

Anyway, I was calculating my monthly expenses and ended up going down this nightmare rabbit hole.

Just out of morbid curiosity, I calculated how long I could live off a million or a billion dollars based on my current costs of living. A million dollars covers me for 23 years. A billion— 23,000 years.

I know it’s old news, but it’s literally impossible to imagine anyone needing that much money.
