Excellent seeing conditions on Wednesday, so I went for my first full lunar mosaic with the C11 in quite a while. Here's a first glimpse: Archimedes, Autolycus & Aristillus. Gear: C11, ASI 2600mm + red-filter for luminance, ASI 178mc for colour. #astrophotography

Yesterday’s sidekick: Jupiter with two of its Galilean moons, Ganymede and Io.

Excellent piece. Contrary to the ridiculous claims in the US NSS that Europe is in 'civilisational decline', it has never been as relevant as today. That is exactly why powers such as the US and China (and multinationals and techbros) actively attempt to undermine it. Elbows up, Europe!

This will be my big project for the winter season. Yesterday’s sky allowed me to gather 2 hours worth of h-alpha data, which convinced me to go with this framing. Planning to go all in with all the filters blazing… :-) SHO palette with some RGB and RGB stars. #astrophotography

The area around LDN 879 in the Cygnus constellation, close to the bright star Sadr, about 5,000 light years away from earth. Not the most popular target in Cygnus, but there’s a lot going on here. A complete rework of my narrowband data captured with an 8" Newton & ASI1600mm. #astrophotography

Since the weather won’t let me go comet hunting, I’m working through some old data. Here are my Pillars of Creation. They’re about seven years old now, and they came out pretty sharp considering my equipment and skill set at the time :-) So here’s a rework and heavy crop. #astrophotography
