The international court has fired the starting gun on climate accountability Last week’s advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is a gamechanger in the long-running global struggle to limit greenhouse-gas emissions. The court’s 15 judges unanimously ruled that governments must act “with the highest ambition”, compatible with the Paris goal of limiting global heating to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

Wonderful to see how well the work over the last year by the Highlands Rewilding science and local ranger/farmer team went down. On the other it amazed me how much empathy and support we are getting from the community as we wrestle with our loan-repayment challenges in these tough economic times.

So hello Bluesky. This is how it starts on this platform, for me.

The company I founded, Solarcentury, once co-marketed with Tesla (their EV, our solar roof tiles). I did the first road drive of a Roadster, with a Daily Mail journalist sitting next to me.

16 years on, well, God help us all.....
