also i'm still reading books. i'm reading my dear hamilton right now. not a bad book by any means but i think it's not to my taste. more opinions to follow.

thank you, thank you, thank you to veronica and mark and all of the other AMAZING staff that helped make my favorite podcast a reality for ten (?!) years. there may be other podcasts and other hotels, but nothing will ever be The Hotel like this.

making me scream, cry, laugh, and more than anything made me think about hotels maybe more than i ever thought i could. she kept my ever-constant thirst for good stories constantly satiated. she always kept me on my toes. i can't say enough good things about the hotel. [con't]

i got SO EMOTIONAL listening to this. i can't believe my favorite podcast ended this year.
the hotel found me when i was still attending college, driving an hour and a half (one way) home every weekend. she (the hotel herself) accompanied me for many of those trips, [con't.]

pausing from reading fiction books to read some ttrpg books, but when i return to reading i'm on "yumi and the nightmare painter" by brandon sanders

(also apparently it's part 2 in a series- i didn't know until i got to the notes at the end, but i don't feel like i missed anything having started with the second book.

BOOK NUMBER THREE was "tatami time machine blues" by tomihiko morimi, translated by emily balistrieri. dear readers (if you're out there), if you know how time machine stories usually go, you will not find anything new in this book. not the worst read ever but a very predictable read.

BOOK NUMBER TWO i satiated my curiosity about stephen king's "carrie". i really liked the way the prom scenes were done but i will probably not choose to read it again (personal preference) lol
