Aren't you based in America? I.e. "the continent" (or one of them. As an islander who is not located on any of the continents I don't think you get the right to use that term pejoratively when you are a continental yourself.

I made pancakes. Then I went to work and left the kids to fend for themselves. Just hold on a few more years.

People generally associate pollution from cars as being from exhaust pipes… but that’s only part of the problem with cars.

this is purely theoretical a president could hypothetically do something like this:
1) Announce policy that will destroy trade which will make stocks plummet.
2) Buy all the stocks.
3) Retract your policy, watch the market recover and stocks to back up.
4) Sell the stocks you bought.
5) Get rich.
gotta get stuff like that on video, bro! That's real content right there. You could go viral! Think of all the clicks you'd get. You'd be swimming in clicks.

"it’s not normal for the world to simply have a unipolar power. It was a product of the end of the Cold War, but eventually you were going to reach back to a point where you had a multipolar world, multi-great powers in different parts of the planet."
I'm not an accelerationist and I don't think there's much good in this, but it is interesting to witness the United States willingly dismantling the global American hegemony - and openly declaring the end of US unipolar power at the world stage. Alexander Dugin must be so thrilled.

Every modern Marvel movie starts with the effects and then sloppily adds some thin story as an excuse to show the effects.

NDG, a self-proclaimed atheist, is implying that there exists a thing called "the Universe" which is separate from all the things that exist within this universe. I.e some transcendent entity which is capable of having attitudes towards the minor beings.
