…and lots of actual critics getting unfairly maligned if they disagree on a piece of media that others enjoy (the woes of fandomism, imo), or vice versa, I do definitely appreciate people who still do it and do it well, not worrying about how others will receive it and just being honest

Not to get too into the weeds with this but I really do admire actually good critics for this reason

In an age where everyone thinks they can do it (with things like letterboxd showing actually a lot of people suck at good critique lol)…

Anyways, gonna rewatch Clue tonight, a movie I was absolutely obsessed with as a child, for some reason (the reason being it’s really good!)

I wish I was better at being able to word my feelings/opinions on things. I just struggle in general to turn a thought into words properly and it makes me feel like I can’t engage in talking about stuff with others well 😓
