Went to the NY Sheep and Wool festival yesterday for the first time ever. Holy hell who knew so many people wanted to see sheep and do fiber arts! In fairness the sheep were HELLA CUTE and I got to learn about different breeds :3

My boyfriend said I coulda won best in show too the stupid flirt >\\<

Been working on a project in my head that needs some characters. Mocked up a rough ref for one of them, my “enemies to lovers” type codename Lupa.

Took an EMBARRASSING amount of time to draw. Hard to find projects that fit my skill level, ugh. Still, sort of turned out so whatever <3

Additional Discovery: I'm tall (6'8"/2m) and LOVE being big spoon with my short partner. When my feralistic side comes out it's like hugging a big plushie I can bite and squeeze and BUCK into and RUIN <3

I LOVE this color palette! Very cool!

No worries. I still think a simple base design allows for VERY elaborate costuming (there's a much more intense variation in my head if those with like, a head piece and a big peacock fan accessory?) but didn't want to get insanely carried away today. Might give it a go again with more practice.

You're stuck waiting for the bus, again. Winter stuck in hard and even through your fur you shiver.

Somehow, the ram is here again, waiting for the next bus. He spots you and perks! Smiling, wagging, clumsy paws in a heart shape.

You wanna warm up? Just be careful.

He bites <3 (10/10)

You wind up smelling like a freshly rutted ram mate for the better part of a week before the catcalls are too much and you do just shave your fur in patches to the roots. It takes a full day for your own scent to come back to the fore. If you bury your snout into your shoulder, it's there. (9/10)

And the SMELL. Heavy with sweetspice and sex, some sort of prey/playmate marking reek that burrows against your skin and STICKS. It CLOTS in clingy stubborn patches the you can just tell are going to take DAYS to work out of your fur. The clothes are ruined. Hopefully you won't need to shave. (8/10)

The ram sinks his teeth into your shoulder and you YOWL.

The bite is bad enough, snug and tight and sure to bruise, but-

His viscous saliva explodes down your shoulder in a hot, gushing pump of fluids that drench from your neck to your chest, wet heat soaking into your fur and clothes- (7/10)

His throat bulges in an inverted gulp, his cheeks swell as dribbles of gooey, weirdly thick saliva leak from the corners of his muzzle-

You get one quick peek as it stretches open, every fold flooded in pearlescent slime, teeth dripping, and oh God the MUSK how does it smell like- (6/10)

It's quick to explain the delays. You're used to them. He still seems anxious so you give him a little playbite to shepard his nerves.

He's looming over you in a straddle before you can remember the tags, wide hips bouncing like a canid ready to pounce for a moment before he playbites back. (5/10)

ABERANCY? Rare. That could mean anything. He catches you looking and it's somehow an invitation, the worried sheep suddenly in the seat next to you pounding words into his phone (so that's a no on verbal for today) and showing you the screen.

BUS LATE? VISTING BOYFRIEND, DON'T KNOW SCHED. (4/10)

Bored (maybe attracted?) you look closer. Cute, but must have feralistic biology; you could probably guess from his large, clumsy paws and chunky buttoned clothes, but the tagged collar is a dead give away. Squinting, you pick up the tags/colors:

VARI-VERBAL
ABERANCY! (3/10)

You're stuck waiting for the third-shift bus. Again. The heat has simmered away so huddling in the light of the glass-walled enclosure only sorta sucks.

The only other fur waiting at this time of night is a tall, curvy ram with a bright shock of dyed hair and an anxious flip-floping tail. (2/10)

Bad News: Turns out my authentic flavor of dommy side is bratty, pushy, bitey, and has the fun added feature of LOUD, UNCONTROLLABLE urges to BLEAT.

A family vacation weekend in the same house is not the ideal venue to discover this.

Good News: Lots of progress in therapy. Been having great conversations with my boyfriend as we come up on our 1 year anniversary that I'm finally starting to put my guard down after having a long history of baggage, and expressing myself in ways that aren't inhibitive and performative with him.

I mean if you need to experiment with tapered strokes I don't think I do anything too special but can advise.
