I'm really excited to get it fleshed out in a more digestible form, but I've been really flattered by how many people have already been trudging through the outline and enjoying it!

Admittedly, it's not 77k particularly *pretty* words - it's just barebones stuff to make sure I've got the story all straight in my head!

Fekkri isn't chaotic because he breaks the law. He's chaotic because he doesn't *care* about the law; he does what he thinks is best. Everyone can agree on that part

But the important distinction is that he wouldn't care about the law even in a society where the laws all aligned with his morals!

yeah! If I remember correctly, it came up in a discussion about how I don't like most interpretations of lawful-vs-chaotic because they too-frequently rely on current local social customs. In my mind, it's much simpler and more useful to think of it as externally-validated vs internally-validated
