I can't stop wondering if there's a "stalking horse" strategy here. I.e., pick some folks (Gaetz, Kennedy) so outrageous that we and any sensible Congresspeople exhaust ourselves in Round 1. Then, when we've won a point or two, they bring in less-known but even more malign folks. Pyrrhic victories?
