Happy World Sleep Day everyone! Hope y'all can catch up on the sleep you lost from our anachronistic practice of "saving time".

I'll be celebrating by getting a few extra hours to relax and temporarily disconnect from the world.

Why did I choose durian in my handle?

The durian is the King of Fruits, but it's very existence is divisive: you hate it or love it.

Spikes and odor make it hard to get close. Get past that, there's a sweetness.

Simultaneously ugly, beautiful, dangerous, and desired.

I identify with the durian.

This is the inner me when I'm almost done with a task and I get a sudden influx of requests.

Been procrastinating on adulting lately(e.g. taxes) and things are piling up. Time to activate serious productivity mode.

Radical self-acceptance: I embrace myself (flaws and all) without judgment nor comparison. I’m a work in progress, always growing and changing. Everyone struggles, so I’ll treat myself with compassion. Focusing on the present, I strive to be my best self in each moment.
