Lowkey kind of sick of every publisher thinking they need a launcher. Back in my day, we just had a few dozen desktop shortcuts and that was it.

Having turned it off mid-way almost 10 years ago... I revisited Halo 4 and I have to say. Its campaign was completely underwhelming. Replaying Combat Evolved through to Reach is somewhat of a tradition, and 4 will not be making its way into there ever. One more thing: fuck Capt. Del Rio.

I'm a PC guy, but holy smokes, I can't help but look over at Mac OS and wonder why on Earth Microsoft can not get it together. Inconsistencies in design, stuff breaking after updates, Control Panel vs Settings, BING, the list goes on. Windows feels like the high school group project gone wrong

There's plenty of fat here that can be trimmed to tighten this up into a cohesive and meaningful exploration of the themes on display. I.e. ... the numerous narcissistic scenes around Ruffalo and Henshall's characters. We get it. The guy's a glory hog.

And more. Usually when a film kicks off this many plot points, I wonder if it'd benefit from the extended run time of a full TV series to explore all of it. That's not the case here.

- The Mickeys' question of their own humanity & identity
- Social dynamics of a prolonged space journey
- Political situation around a cult of personality vs. normal settlers
- How a partner would react to a clone of the person (besides just getting horny about it)

Dealt with a post-marathon overuse injury from May 2024 onwards and the climb back up hasn't been easy, but (according to Runalyze) looks l crested the hill in October and the trend line recently is super promising. Especially since learning a lot more about how to train properly
