Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West for a friend and i got woims :3c Horizon AU Drake and Erdem upon ye. Erdem is Banuk and Drake is a Snapmaw

For the second image - I traced over a render of a Snapmaw to get the shapes, and then the bottom is me simplifying them even more so I dont die every time I draw them

nowadays if im thinking of commissioning someone in the future ill scroll through their media tab to see if they have any examples of non white non conventionally attractive characters theyve drawn and i find plenty of gems. most times im disappointed tho

sometimes i see someone's art and im like "ouuu maybe ill commission them,,," but ive been burned a few too many times by getting a commission back and noticing that it looks like they just kinda gave up halfway through because the character isnt white and has ethnic features
