I don't think it is burnout. I've been trying to emulate my fursona because I believe him to be the absolute best version of myself. I just can't do it anymore and it sucks. It's really difficult to explain, but it's more of a feeling like I have lost myself.

I've been feeling so distant and separated from my fursona and the furry community lately. I'm thinking about taking a break from the fandom, but I don't think that's possible for me. Every single one of my friends is a furry. I can't step away unless I totally isolate myself from everyone I know.
