Today it seems that so many people are rejecting science and pushing pseudoscience on social media and in many cases they are profiting from their misinformation. Many social media influencers are pushing medical information with no background in either medical or science. RFK Jr comes to mind.

Nothing wrong with expecting people to pick themselves up by their bootstraps, until you realize that some people have no boots.
