This would be amazing! I’ve been on medication for UC since first diagnosed at age 26, & had a severe case of Salmonella poisoning in my late 20’s as well, that required hospitalization for a week.

During a recent discussion with an old friend, he asked me if I’d read Candide (satirical gem) in French. Nope, but revisiting now, dans sa langue originale. Have my English copy handy just in case, but annoyingly it’s like having subtitles on. Can’t help reading them even when I don’t need to. 🙄
