I call Feng Xin stupid a lot as a joke but on a deeper level i thinks he’s actually just very dense and literal. In the book it often takes him a moment longer than everyone else to get the joke and i think that’s also one of the biggest reasons that Mu Qing’s sarcasm upsets him
