I once caught one of my cats literally licking dustbunnies and other filth off the bristles of a broom, years ago. He had the expression of someone who was just caught in the middle of a shameful secret habit.

The bsky experience thus far:

Compared to bird site, vastly higher proportion of creepy bots and other sketchy follows.

Compared to toot site, just as many people wagging fingers about adding alt text, and 0% of the people offering help or resources to facilitate it being written.

Not great, tbh.

My FFXIV Rava, Rel. Known for being suspiciously good with plants, believing that murder is a sensible solution to many problems, befriending a sentient (?) haunted house, and drunkenly lecturing people about the importance of various pollinator species.

I haven't managed to talk myself into Glazing things yet because its makers say it's to "protect your Style" and I'm too fickle to HAVE one, so it sounds largely useless, but maybe I can justify the effort to myself as "you can poison some fucker's dataset a little, as a treat!"

thank you! My memory is hazy but I think it was inspired by some of Anna Dittmann's art wrt to how chalk textured brushes can give a really good illusion of detail while still being super hazy and soft.

And some more ambitious ones in this style, also from a couple of years ago. I will probably never offer comms like these again because while doing portraits this way is chill, doing anything this involved is borderline nightmarish! I liked the results, though.

Alright let's test photosets with some of my favourites of the messy paint comms I did a few years ago. Miqo'te edition, because I'd get bodied by a landslide of cats every time I opened slots back then.

These are all good but I particularly love the demonic soft-serve horns on the last one.
