the first two novellas are wonderful, esp the 2nd one but the rest are skippable imo.

on the 2nd book and it definitely suffers from sequel syndrome, but starting to pick up!

its crazy that its YA because it sure doesn't feel like it

on book two now and it is ✨breaking✨ me.. reading an unpopular book series and not having anyone to scream about it to is not for the weak

i worked at a library for about 5 years, i can attest to the fact that chapter titles help a ton for younger ones especially!

I’m 60% in and it might be an all-time fave.

The first two novellas are essential reads beforehand. 1st is meh, 2nd is great.

Dorothy comes back to Oz, gets magic, goes wild, and another Kansas girl has to kill her.

so far, im liking it! i recommend reading no place like oz and then the witch must burn, they are 2/9 prequel novellas to Dorothy must die quartet, but imo the only 2 relevant novellas
