At one point, Kavanaugh got so frustrated at Gorsuch (for posing a *mildly* difficult question to the contractor) that he tried to jump in and cut him off. Gorsuch wouldn't stand down, telling Kavanaugh: "You’re gonna have your shot, my friend." You can tell several other justices are also annoyed.

Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

So far, there aren’t many signs of it ending anytime soon. Originally, they were shooting for November 1, but now Johnson is talking about it potentially taking until January, which would be fucking outrageous.

They have to eventually reopen the government in order to keep money flowing. Money that hasn’t been allocated by Congress can’t be spent.

Journalists are largely cowards who are afraid of losing their access, so they’d rather save the tough questions for their books.

As far influencers, who knows? I haven’t personally called it out, because in my mind the quote that is most commonly attributed as proof is just old man rambling.

With Hegseth’s new orders that nobody can talk to Congress about these strikes unless approved by DOD, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him charged eventually.

I would expect there to be some military hearings on the validity of these strikes once sanity is back in charge, too.
